How to Escape from a Sick Society

Should conscientious objectors continue to participate in a corruption society?

1053

During a period of societal breakdown where trust in public institutions rapidly erodes, corporate malfeasance and profiteering goes unchecked, and political and media institutions implode under the weight of their own corrupt practices – conscious members of the public will be left in a state of limbo. So often this chaos and instability is used by the establishment in order to increase their grip on authoritarian power, which further exacerbates the demise of a free society. Should conscientious objectors continue to participate in such a corruption system, or are they better off disengaging and starting anew, far away from the downward spiral of the kakistocracy?

These issue are broken down in detail in this brief presentation by Academy of Ideas entitled, “How to Escape from a Sick Society.”
