In March 2020, some 43 American states enacted a compulsory lockdowns, placing nearly 315 million people under house arrest, and causing an unprecedented disruption in human society. “Shelter-in-place” orders were stringently enforced by state officials, with government shutting businesses, public parks, churches and schools – all due to fear of an alleged ‘global pandemic.’ This short documentary film explores the extreme pandemic response by some US states, California being among the worst in the country, all acting in an unprecedented manner compared to previous emergencies in history, and giving rise to an untold number of catastrophic consequences. The situation was made worse by government and media colluding to promulgate misguided information, further compounding irrationality in the the public discourse – leading to what can only be described as mass-hysteria. One disturbing aspect of this film is how some of the residents interviewed did not want to be identified on camera – likely for fear of political or social retribution from an increasingly fanatical pro-lockdown lobby. Above all, this further underlines the need for society to step back and take a hard look at the wonton abuse by government official and bureaucrats during the Covid hysteria. The film also looks at the fraudulent use of the non-diagnostic PCR test by medical and public health officials, and how its inventor, the late Dr Kary Mullis, warned the world never to use his invention for mass testing.
