UK COLUMN: Skripal Anniversary, OPCW Report Flops, Hunt for Red Yakovenko

This week in the 1 year anniversary of the Skripal Affair the alleged ‘Novichok’ chemical weapons attack against former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. To mark the anniversary, the mainstream press have released a few new fake Russiaphobic news stories as part of the a wider state-sponsored anti-Russian disinformation and propaganda effort. After many months, the long-awaited release of the OPCW’s Report on the alleged ‘Chemical Weapons Attack’ in Douma was finally released this past weekend, which ruled out the use of Sarin nerve agent – a fact which has demolished large parts of the US-UK official government conspiracy theory story. However, there are a number of incredible gaping holes in the report including a new ‘magic bullet‘ style anomaly which was left unexplained by the authors.
